The old school tee says - "Different is normal"
The old school tee says - "Different is normal"
Being different is being normal
This was a phrase on one of my old school t shirts - somehow even after 7 years this tee still remains as an imperative part of my wardrobe - although i hardly wear it now, but every-time i open my wardrobe, this one falls out, there is something it always reminds me off.
The good old school / college day, which have passed by - long time back - and now, in the race of time - the only aim left is : to succeed more and more.
Being a product manager - my last 2 years have been brain scratching - my bread and butter comes from two words : what's more / what's next ??
Do things what others have not thought of yet or even if they have why not add some own spice to it and make it a little more tangy ;-p
I believe every idea / thought rising in one's mind is defined or confined to needs / demands or clues from the world around and its surroundings - there is no self developed innovation.
The reason we know about gravity was not because of Newton - i give the credit away to that tree who let that apple fall on Newton.
In a race of more than 100 millions where everyone is competing to one another the only specimen lies is : that you don't know the name, contact or have ever seen the competitor.
So there goes your competitive analysis in the game of life - the only strategy left to follow is your own self living strategy (which comprise of zero base game plan - zero / no strategy) - lead life the way it comes.
With all due respect to my ex boss, who always persecuted me to do what nobody was doing or nobody had thought off for the business. In my simple words try and BE DIFFERENT from the others and the fact of realization here was : the business competitor was also trying to do the same, and in the race of being different, both the fronts were not doing which exactly was required to do i.e. the basic stuff ;-p
what would an innovation do, if the base of innovation is missing, a few days back saw a perfect advert in respect of this phrase, the Mahindra Stallio advert - the perfect one ;) if you might have missed it - here it is
Every teenage boys does a whellie on his / her cycle or bike do you any teenagers who rides it below 40 KMPH and follow traffic rules (well to be frank - i was never like that)
You have it here - the one doing different things are quite common - its the normal breed which is missing.
I believe its time i should fit myself in that old t-shirt and start to doing the normal / basic things first

This one for Nachi
Although I am not into a habit of writing (I left it long back) but anything for Nachi – This one is a special write up as it is for my dear friend / mentor Nachi.
There are people in life that you can never forget or can never stay or want to stay out of touch even when they are distantly away from you.
She is one on the most treasured friends of mine, who always has a special place in my life.
I joined Info Edge 3.5 years back and directly reporting to the Product Manager of the website Ms. Nachiketa Chandra. Looking for excuses to crib about my boss – but I always use to fell short off.
Nachiketa my first boss my very first mentor and a real great pal. I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor at that juncture and as time went by I kept learning and kept growing, with her support and guidance person who very well knows how to enlighten the surrounding with her charm and make people around her smiling and happy.
I give all the credit to my luck – that I was there part of the team and under guidance and mentorship of Nachiketa - the number of things I learnt from her are endless
She is very caring and humble always up on for her friends and a very sensible and a sincere person. A person whom I can always look up to. A complete full of life person, who is very generic to fit in surroundings, very gregarious & vivacious! is nachiketa - one of the very few people I admire n listen too.
Apart from all this o
i can go on writing commendable things about her coz she is d one who deserves all dez ............. the last thing i would like to mention thru dis forum about her is dat Nachi really cares a lot about her friends / family and people close to her, a perfect phrase for her would be “Beauty with Brains”

Zma v/s Pulsar

KARIZMA vs P200 vs P220-Some interesting facts.
>>>>> Point No.1)
Take a look at the power output figure of the three bikes. Obviously Karizma is nothing in front of both 200 and 220 .Moreover P220 wins with a big margin.
>>>>Point No2) Now take a look at the 'real on-road' performance figures. 0-60- P220 with MAX gain of .27sec !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0-80 KZMA with MAX gain of .18sec !!!!!!! 0-100- P220 with MAX gain of .94 sec !!!!!!!!! Top whack- P220 with MAX gain of 1.59kmph !!!!!!!!! Mileage- KZMA with a MAX gain of 5kmpl Its time to think deliberately.... For instance compare the performance of KZMA and P200- Neither the 5kg lighter body or the extra 1.1ps is helping P200 to win the scene.
Else consider the acclaimed value for money of P220- After paying 8750 bucks extra fore the P220 what im getting is a .94sec's(Max) gain in acceleration and a 1.54kmph higher top speed(!!!!!!!) which is NEGLIGIBLE in the real tarmac world.(Just leave the fuel efficiency factor aside.).. It is vivid from the test figures that, though P200 as well as P220 poccess technical advantages like extra BHP,Fuel Injecter,Oil cooler,DTSi.,Lighter kerb weight etc etc, they are just struggling to gain the ground....Meanwhile P200 just fight hard to the gravell..... Remember the Bells and Whistles affirming the ' futuristic technology' of P220?? Now the real question is,,,, a)What the @#$% did u slackers gain with those high end, ultra advance, super boasted technology?????? b)What do the piteous customers who pay the extra 8750 bucks get????? Is the answer- A gain in acceleration of .94sec's(maximum) and a 1.54kmph higher top speed and a lose in 5kmpl ??? Or is it the the 'gismos and gadgets' that comes with the bike??(save for the rear disc-the only practical advantage i see in P220) Else do you have a trouble free history/reputation to claim about???? BULL @#$%....
Again, according to the OverDrive test report, KZMA still outscore the P220 in the refinement stakes, especially past 6000 rpm. Every bike entusiasist will admit that the quality and refinement of KZMA engine/gearbox is impeccable, especially evident if you over cook the engine.Where as the Pulsar is a "renowned looser" in this game of quality. After ridden hard for few months, all the Pulsars including the 200 looses its performance significantly and even clamber to catch up with an equally abused Unicorn. I am not trying to lay my claims here, but...these are just FACTS... Bajaj....U gotta be kidding us......aint u ???Well to be sincere I am also a true blue Indian and always wanted to see at least one Indian company to come up technically superior some day,,,, Big sales figure and attractive commercial ads alone doesn't mean the company is superior ..does it???.... Instead of pointing out their flaws and make them draw out quality products, lot of tomfools are praising them without any noesis.... Do u really think all the Indians live in a 'blunt trauma' like ur regular customers???? Ofcourse your falling sales figure says -WE JUST DONT..
>>> Point No3) Lets see what the 'wise asses' will do!!!! With the saved extra 8750 bucks, and 5kpl efficiency gain,we can terrifically perfo tune the Karizma's to a REAL BEAST..... Here is the list of parts that go into the cart with the saved money. 1)A branded free flow Silencer-Rs1250 2)Big size Carb - Rs 3000 3)NGK Iridium Plug- Rs 700 4)NGK HT cable- Rs700 4)K&N- Rs 1600 5)Head face Shaving,Port Polishing-Rs1000 6)Bigger sprocket- Rs 500
Point No4) You may have a doubt that how effective/efficient these modes can be. Check out this video clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw9LLn_B
